Default Cold Air Intake and Tuner worth it?

I'm looking into this http://www.americanmuscle.com/cnl-sct-2011v6-kit.html for my 2012 V6. Is it worth getting? I have a friend who told me to just get the intake and skip the tuner. Thoughts? Thanks.

The tuner will do more for you than a CAI will. Get both if you can. If you can't get both get the tuner.

Yup.

Don't bother getting the Cold Air Intake without the tuner and a tune (which comes with the tuner usually), for it.
The Cold Air intake does about 10-15% of the gain. The tune does the bulk. Your friend is SORELY mistaken.

If you can't get both.. get the TUNER with a tune on it.

Ask ANYONE with these Mustangs.

If anything, get the tuner instead of the CAI! The custom tune is 85%+ of the performance gain. To get the max performanace gain, the CAI/Tuner combo is the best option.

Your friend is obviously a moron and you should not listen to a word he says from here-on-out. It will make a HUGE difference, esp if you're auto.

And BTW, did you try searching before making the new thread? I'm sure this has been answered several (hundred) times.....

Don't get either. About 75% of us on the forum that run CAI & tunes don't know what we're talking about and just spend money recklessly.

CAI+Tune > Tune > CAI
both if you can, just the tuner if you cant, dont bother with just a CAI alone, not worth the money

If you cannot get both, go for a tune and a K&N filter.
