Default Long Tubes

What kind of power gains can you expect from getting long tubes with a tune? And what kind of exhaust sound change can you get from them? If you have a similar exhaust setup as I do, please post vids of your car! (OR H, FM40s)

It varies widely I think. I am not sure on the power gains, but here is a vid with BBK Ceramic longtubes, a BBK O/R H, and Roush axlebacks:

I have hot rod cams now as well, but I don't have anything other than an idle vid for that.

So you think that it will sound pretty similar? Are those axle backs dual chambered like FM40s?

I'm sorry, but I have no clue if they are or not. But yes, I would imagine it to sound similar.

Stand alone LT's on a GT without any power mods but an existing CAI & tune may gain roughly 10 RWHP. The tune will only be revised to turn off the O2's. However, pair the LT's with a set of cams and you're talking power equal to or greater than a CAI and good tune.

If you're naturally aspirated and tuned already, gains from longtubes will be negligible. Any gains you see at one point in the power curve will likely be offset by losses under the curve.

Not the best video but this is Kooks LT, Kooks H-Pipe w/high flow cats and Flowmaster American Thunder axle backs.
