Default matte black roof decal

has anyone seen a place that has a pre-cut decal for the roof for our cars? The only thing ive seen that would work would be vinyl wrap, but i have never worked with it and dont want to take the chance of screwing it up

plasti-dip will work, but do it right - get a good spray nozzle or spray-gun all-together when you dip it. Such a large surface, inconsistencies in layers of dip will show quickly (Seen a few guys spray their roof and hoods and did it straight from can = not so good and was quickly peeled off).

Might consider getting a can of the glossifier-dip to go with it - you might dig the matt black roof, but from what I've seen after the gloss hits it, you'd have to be right up on it to realize it wasn't a tinted glass roof. (seen a dipped & glossed roof and a vinyl roof in person; [not mustangs] without being told I couldn't have said the difference - I actually thought the dip was the vinyl'd one at first it came out so well).

2 cans of black and a can of gloss should do the roof just fine + decent nozzle = $25-$30 (spray gun... +$60)
1 vinyl skin for the roof + install = $300 and up, is going rate around here

a friend an i did 10 rims, my faux gas cap and his lancers hood with only 4 cans, you can buy this sprayer that you just attach the normal plastidip spray can for i think 30 bucks from dipyourcar.com

It would be easier to get somebody to paint that on than it would be trying to put that big decal on your roof. Looks kinda like a vista roof from far away

Except paint would be permanent. Just spray the roof down with alcohol mixed windex and use a squeegee to wipe out the bubbles. Shouldn't be too hard, it's already pre-cut.

Go to ebay and get some Hexis vinyl material. Couldn't be easier to put on.

$124 for a vinyl decal you have to apply yourself is ridiculous.

Just go to a vinyl/tint shop. I got mine done for less than $100
