Default How to get an X-Plan PIN?

Hey all, about to go to the dealership between now and my next paycheck to go put money down and order my Mustang, and I've heard soo much about getting cars at X-Plan pricing and such, that I mentioned that to my local dealer.

Now I just need to get an X-Plan PIN.... But how?? I'm literally a few days until I place my order....

Thank you in advance.

I got mine as part of the benefits of being a member of the Mustang Club of America. If you google "X-Plan and MCA" you should get a link to their site that will explain the process and how you can get the PIN number immediately.

There is a cost associated with the membership and you will have to pony (pun intended) up the money to the MCA in order to qualify.

You are supposed to work for a company that partners with ford. Your dealer may require a paycheck stub to verify that you indeed qualify for xplan.

It's only $2k off msrp on a 2012 gt premium. You could probably get that much knocked off yourself. They don't show xplan pricing for the 2013's yet. With the added $3k incentives in my area, I could get a 2012 gt premium for $28k.

Go here Fordpartner.com My company is a Ford tier 1 supplier. I was supplied a code that allows you into the site and look up exactly what your Ford partner X plan pricing will be. You can build your own and see what your price is. You can obtain what they call a PIN number on the site to use at the dealer. And yes, proof of employment is required. BUT...when I purchased my 2010 GT I received a better internet price than my X plan price would have been. I asked my dealer about this and he said when they give quotes over the internet (which is what I did) they typically are as good as it gets. This is entirely due to internet competition among dealers. I received a $2700.00 internet discount AND 0% financing for 66 month as compared to the X plan which I believe would have been around a $2000 discount. Get some internet pricing prior to your X-plan price for comparison.
We make VVT (cam phasing) valves for the 4.6L (which I have), the 3.7L (my sons 2012 stang) and I4 (don't recall the liters 2.0 maybe) in vehicles like the Focus. We also make the VVT and cylinder deactivation valves in the 5.7L Chrysler Hemi, among many other automotive products.
Good Luck

You can go to www.fordpartners.com and put in XA790 as the partners code. That will get you into the site, but you can't get a pin without being either employed by a partner company or join the mustang club like was mentioned.

There's a 2012 grabber blue gt 5spd manual with brembo package, HID, 3.73 for $31,700 after xplan and $3,000 incentive. It's in Daytona beach and it's very tempting.

You're supposed to be able to get a pin if you own Ford stock too. Contact shareholder services.

well I priced out a 2013 Grabber Blue Premium Convertble GT w/ Manual, base wheels, 401A, Shaker 1000, comfort package, they said w/ XPlan I'd be @ 40,260. MSRP is 44,500 and change... Going to finance for 42k so I can Get 20" Bullitts, lower it and get a GT500 Spoiler and LeMans stripes right away..

I heard there was a way to request a PIN even if you aren't a Ford employee.

Let me get this straight. You aren't putting any money down and you are going to try and finance $42k so you can use the extra $2k for rims?

Really?

You don't need to be a ford employee, you need to work for a company that is in the fordpartner program or do one of the other things mentioned.
