WD40 works great to remove stuff like adhesive if you are worried Goo Gone might be too harsh.

went to brushless carwash place, guy says he can get rid of whatever is on the dash without using harsh materials.

If it were horse semen, the car wouldve sold for a lot less

Havent gone to him yet, hopefully he does the job right

Try WD40 first, works great for me. Might have to let it sit for a couple of minutes.

Entaille's suggestions are hilarious hahahahaha.

Wish I could tell you how, but my dad sent my recently-acquired '08 V6 to be detailed professionally while I was away. The car was however a rental car before I bought it, and the plastic trims all over the dash and especially the auto shifter looked horrible as if it had deteriorated. That "10,000 tourists with sweaty palms have drove this car" look. Urgh. No amount of detailing could make that shine.

yeah, im just glad this was a lease (yet the guy before me managed to put 30,000 miles on it ina year!!!!).

I dont think a proffesional detail job is necesary, just those two arge spots. everything else in the car is perfect (for now :/)
