yup that things a piece of ****. His exhausts are completely crooked and not even level with one another. The car is red, with some cheap *** black rims, and a black stock wing. 3/4 the trim pieces are missing from the front of the dam thing. LOL. Funny cuz he has this "build" planned and he should make about 400whp. but will cost 5-$6000 EXCLUDING labor on anything. Funny thing is.......roush supercharger and some drag radials and ill be running 10's all day and he will be fighting for traction. He is a horrible driver any ways. Everytime he races people talk **** about him LOL. he cant keep his dam car straight and he just thinks he is the ****. Cant wait for him to total that piece of crap. Neon's belong in junk yards. But the guy drives like an idiot. The other day we were driving together to go get his car dynoed and he was with his wife and i was with mine. He was doing like 120-130 passing cars and went head on with 2 cars. WITH HIS PREGO wife in the car. What a ****ing idiot. I mean i caught up to him cuz my wife didnt care but i never went over 100. lol. The dam thing climbs to 100 easily. And my wifey was bragging about how she was doing 130 in the 5.0 the other day! LMAO. Ill get off my soap box. Sorry for the rant. Just hate ricers. I came to mustang from 6 years of euro and nissans. (im 20 btw) so i mean yeah had my fun building rice rockets but nothing can beat the sound of that 5.0 opening up and SCREAMING. Reguardless i see another mustang purchase in the future.

Default $1000 mods

My vote CAI with tune. LCA and after cat x pipe. Resonator delete. This sounds like about a 1000 bucks. 3:15 gears not a problem launch at 6000 RPm. When you go home in the GT know that its got more potential than a neon. In my mind there's no comparison.

If you are stock I'd go with this...
CAI and tune
Gears 4.10's. MAKE SURE to get the Ford Racing ones.
Be aware that even from ford racing they sell Motive Gears that are labeled Ford Racing gears.

The REAL Ford Racing gears do NOT have an M at the end of the part number.

Some people say Motive gears are fine but I would stay the hell away from them.
I have way too many people I know that got them and had gear whine, BAD.
Some say gear whine is usually from install errors BUT I've seen too many Motive gears that
have been installed and have the gear whine then replaced with the REAL Ford Racing gears and have no whine.

PLUS... the REAL Ford racing gears are built MUCH stronger than the Motive gears.
Why take a risk?

Agreed !

How about an X-pipe & axle back exhaust?
You should be able to stay under 1K with muffler delete pipes.
