Default Made the switch from 12 GT to 13 GT

My reasoning for making the switch was...

I had only paid 26,900 for the 12, and traded it in for 27,350 although blue book on it was only 25,800 yesterday morning......

Only gave 28,600 for the 13 GT w/ 3.73s ( LOVE THEM)

I owed 23k on the 12... now I owe 25k so a little more debt but not too bad...

Now the reasoning. I committed the "money shift" at the track about 2 months ago. Was datalogging and mechanically redlined the car to 78xx.. from that point on it felt hard to get in to first gear, and I was paranoid so I demodded... kept driving it but I wasn't comfortable. I knew fords warranty wouldnt back me if I need repairs... at the age of 21 working full time, and full time student. At this time I can not afford to play, so I made a move to reinstate my warranty... A 2013... I learned a lot about what to do and what not to do, and I never truly wanted red.... I wanted white. So this time I got what I wanted, and will not mod until my wallet is fat enough.

There is a lot more that could be said about that whole situation, but I am now comfortable in what I have and will grin everytime I pay my payment.

Sounds like a reasonable and logical move. Congrats!

Am I the only one bothered by the faux-foglamp inserts on the new '13 bumpers? I love the rear-end, though.

You have to know how to bargain. I don't think I've paid any more than sticker price minus $5,000 - $6,000 in about 2 decades.

I work full time, actually just got a new job.... Got the call while signing for my 13...

I work as a lead man for a company that cleans chemical containers... rail cars and tank trailers... work 50+ hours a week.... right now we are working 6 10s and thats why Im switching jobs..

I am making the switch to a rail car repair company called Rescar... I make decent money, and at this time I am very blessed with a good family.

My bills are my car, insurance, phone, and school... Plenty of money to get me in more trouble but I refrain. I get very uncomfortable if I dont have at least 5k in savings as my emergency fund... I am just now finishing my Associates at a local community college so it has been really cheap... about 1.5k a semester... Next semester I am starting at University of Houston Clear lake... Im looking at roughly 4k a semester, but should be able to make it through without accumulating any student loans is my goal... If it comes to a point to where it is tuition or car that is an easy decision. I will sell the stang. I have equity in it right now as it sits on the drive way, and I have a 1990 Acura Integra as my beater soooooo yeah lol

Awesome deal and way to think about that warranty ahead of time.
