Default how do you put on a front license plate?

I am trying to put on a front license plate for a 95 mustang

But there is a big block of foam so I can't reach in a put the nuts on.

I tried taking the fender off, but I wasn't able to. There must be some hidden screws or something.

Should I just rip out that foam?

In all seriousness, please don't. That foam is an integral part of the engineering that goes into protecting you during a collision.

My licence plate is held on with course thread screws (not bolts that require nuts). I would recommend going to the dealer and asking for a set... they might give them to you for free. These get screwed through the bumper cover and are not designed to support much weight, which is why they are only screws.

On my 01 the front plate bracket is held on by large pop rivets. I would suspect it will be the same for your year.

+10000. You just use course screws like Don said and go through the plastic and if it goes into the foam, no biggie. And they should be short screws too...like maybe an inch. You can mark your holes, drill with a slightly smaller bit than the screw, then they just screw in.

You go here: http://www.ccmustangbrackets.com/

Problem solved, no holes, and easy removal for car shows.

Why would you want to put ugly holes in your front bumper?
