I was asking how to remove a decal on another forum and here is the response I got.

Quote- "3m makes a decal remover for body shops. It's basically a round rubber eraser to put in a drill. I got mine thru Amazon. Haven't used it cause I change my mind. 3M #07498. Say's it will not harm underlying paint."

Haven't tried it but I will probably end up seeing if I can hunt that tool down.


Found it.. it's $27 and you need a dremel that runs at 2000 rpm's give or take 200.


Actually (yes I am adding to this post at random intervals) I just saw O Reillys has this in stock. I am going to go get it at lunch. Was going to go to the track this evening but everyone backed out and resheduled for next week so, I have a project now. I will let you know how it goes as far as ease of use and what it does to your paint, etc..

I would remove the rocker stripes as well. I used to be into racing stripes but not so much anymore. I think your blue looks good without any.

I had a friend do them for me. They are 12". I bought the top stripes off ebay and the rocker stripes from American Muscle. The top ones aren't a high quality vinyl like the rockers. I am actually going to be removing the top stripes and having them painted on.....at some point. Just have to find the time.

The rockers from AM are awesome though.
