Default anyone have problems with trunk trim clips/pins??

Well I lost my trunk trim pin that screws to the rear of the tailight so I made an easy fix if any wanted an idea that looks pretty cool ill take some pics. All you need is a hex head bolt and trim washer and a bolt coupler that goes on the rear of the tailight and slides into were the pin goes then tighten it down. It looks good and holds the trim a lot better

I wouldn't mind seeing some pics. Mine is stripped and the clip won't hold any more. Got to play with it today after replacing a bulb and it's just one of those annoying things that I never found a replacement.

I've replaced several tail light bulbs in three years, and those trim pins are junk. I might have to try this.

Mine are holding, but a pain in the butt to remove and reinstall. This sounds like a great idea, more details on bolt size and pics would be helpful.

I've been meaning to go to home depot and try to find a workaround to those cheesy plastic bolts that don;t work. One is lost somewhere in my trunk and can;t find it. please post pics.

Would also like to see details of your fix. They are trashed on mine too. I just have them kind of in-place but they aren't holding at all.
