Default Rebuilding my gt

A couple months ago, my friend ask me to borrow him my car so he can pick up a girl and he ended it crashing it into a fence. I had no insurance and no money (broke college student lol) anyways my friend bail on me and I have been car less for 5 months now, I saved some money and I already bought some parts for my baby. Since I want to save money Im not going to pay someone to install the parts for me so Ill be doing it by myself

This is how it looked when the tow truck left it on my apartment:

I already installed the headlights and radiator also I ordered a front bumper it arrives on the 31th
Headlights installed

Does anyone knows whats this and how to fix it? is in the back of the car I think its the fuel pump???

Also I need some rivets for the trunk where can I buy them??

Parts I need:
Front bumper - check
Headligts -check
grill
rivets
radiator -check
front bumper lights
Maybe I can still fix the fenders and the hood so I wont list them

If anyone knows where I cand find these parts for cheap please tell me (no china stuff please)

Thanks for any help!! Ill be updating this thread until my car looks brand new

I think the interior rivets are the least of your worries. You need side skirts and probably a new hood.

No insurance or you only have liability?

Anyways, hit up eBay and s197forums (they have a really active classified section where stock parts like that are listed fairly often for good prices.)

Take your friend to small claims court. He's responsible for the damages.

+1 on this one. If he bailed on you he is NO friend!
Why are you putting a car on the road with no insurance? Or loaning it out? If they got hurt, you would get stuck with their med bills because it was your car. Not a smart move, I hope you never do that again.

Also, by the looks of the front bumper support, you may also have some frame damage.

That was a stupid move letting a "friend" drive it. Now you're paying the consequences of his actions. I agree, take his *** to court cuz he's definately not a friend.

I'd agree with taking him to court, but i suspect he is as broke as the OP and won't be able to pay a judgment anyway. Insurance is there for a reason.

Your friend is a complete bitch. Take him to court.

+1 for s197forum's classifieds. You should be able to find the major parts you need there.

Two things you don't loan out... your woman and your stang, because you don't want either of them violated.

Ylu definitely need to replace the bumper (the metal piece that's bent to hell) as well as the bumper cover. Looks like you'll need the bumper foam also.
