For the record, this joke offer is from my brother.

Sorry, couldn't resist. :-)

FWIW, I have driven and ridden in this GT plenty, and it really is as nice as it looks. If you covered the odo you'd think you were in one with far less miles.

For some reason engine bay pics didn't show up on Auto Trader - should show up later today - any referrals would be appreciated!

Yeah, he has been looking a bit. He has mostly looked at newer ones or 07-09 GT500s. He wants power but yours has a lot already done plus all the maintenance records like you said. The miles may make him leery but it wouldn't hurt to look at least, who knows he may like it.

I'm not at all surprised. Ford has their act together. My last car--a 1996 Probe GT--went 200k before I finally had to let it go. The engine & chassis were solid, but electrical gremlins were starting to creep in & there is zero parts support any more. It was a sad day signing over the pink slip. I fully expect my '13 GT to go at least that long, and parts ought to be there for a good long time.

Good luck with the sale. I sold my 2006 Pony convertible with the Xcharger on it in May when I ordered my 2013. Didn't get as much as I hoped, but got more than my minimum. I ended up listing it on Ebay and had it on autotrader as well. After I sold it on ebay of course I had 3 calls on it.

$8200 - more than I could get on a trade in, but less than the $9,900 I was hoping for. And trading it in I would have had to put it back to stock first and in the end after parting out things I would have ended up about the same probably, maybe a little more $ but a lot more hassle.
