Default What would you pay for this 12 GT

so i am looking at a car. its a 12 Gt Premium black 6speed with brembo package, 3.73. It has 15000miles on it. They are asking 30,800 for it. Do you think getting them to 28000 would be impossible?

I called about it. It is at same place I bought my 10GT from. They always seem to deal well with me. So hopefully I can work a deal and finally get rid of this crappy *** WRX.

Just ask, worse they could say is no....which is probably what they're going to initially say.

If that's all you wanting to spend and this is the car you want, just tell them that this is the deal....$28K for the car and you'll drive it home today. Of course they'll dicker with you, that's their job, but if you hold firm and they can move on it, I'm sure they will.

yea when he calls back I will tell him 28 is what i will pay cause I wont go over a certain budget. Only thing makes me antsy as its exactly what i wanted brembo, 3.73 premium black. There was no more 12 in my area that fit what i wanted new since I like the front ends a little more on the 12 over 13. but if they are not willing to move I will just wait till closer to spring when ford is offering the 2grand+ rebates and get a 13

I paid around that for my new premium, but it doesn't have the Brembo/3.73s. It did however come with like 7 miles on the clock... I suspect at 28k, they will still be making a few grand in profit, don't see why they wouldn't do that.

The sticker on mine ordered from the factory.. with the same goodies plus a backup camera and glass roof was $37,000 (i didnt pay that much). Id say getting them to 28-29 shouldn't be that big of an issue since thats around what the car is actually worth.

Also, take a look at the tires. I had to replace my summer-only Pirelli tires (that come with the Brembo package) at around 14,000 miles. They had tread, but were getting really unpredictable.

Replacing those tires is pretty expensive. You may want to point out the life of those pricy tires when dealing. If the tires are brand new (as in replaced).. then you saved yourself around $1000 right there. My replacement Michelin Pilot A/S Plus cost me around $1,700 from Dobbs.. (I went there for free rotations and patches.. I seem to be a magnet for nails).

If the tires show a lot of wear, and they wont go down as far as you would like on the price, ask them to put new tires on. If you can get it for around 29- or their asking price.. and get new tires out of the deal, thats a $1,000+ bonus for you.

I'd think 28 is a fair offer. There is one close to me with 19K miles (I think it was), non-brembo and an automatic though, for $27,xxx. There's an 11 close by with under 20K miles for just barely over $26, again non-brembo.

I'm kicking around the idea of trading my car in for an automatic myself.

I would think 28K should definitely be feasible

28K is good, but you have a solid point. Not many 12 brembo's, black with 3.73s.

I would not waste too much time. You may have to pucker up and pay the extra grand or so. You will not find another.

28K is most likely what they have in the car.... 27K maybe....
