Default Auto trans slipping?!?!

So this doesnt happen all the time and its only once in a blue moon, but sometimes my car seems as if it slips out of gear than corrects itself and jumps right back in. Now my car is a 2012 auto with a steeda CAI and steeda tune that has been on for 1k miles now and this has only happened recently. It also only seems to happen when I am going up hill and in the low low (1200-1500) rpm range. Basically I am just driving normally and accelerating normally, and it seems as if it jumps out of gear, the rpms jump to about 2500-3000, than it corrects itself and jumps right back into gear. There is no slamming or clunking or anything. Basically seems as if the car is in too low of an RPM range and kicks itself into a lower gear.

ANY IDEAS ON WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THIS?? I dont beat on my car at all. Maybe put it back to stock and see if it continues??

Haven't heard anyone talk about automatics yet but the manuals have some problems. That's really going to suck if u get to a point where u think u would be better off with the 2010. Gl

^nice! Lol

Maybe it's the torque converter locking and unlocking for some reason. I would put back to stock and drive the same hill and see if it happens again.

Found out its just from having a tune on the auto trans, and some others get it as well. I had to re-upload the tune last night since I updated my firmware and it hasnt happened since. Others who get the same thing say its only when you baby the car (keep it in the low low rpm range) which is how I mostly drive lol
