Default A friend of mine went to check out the boss 302 2013 mustang and he found this..

Boss 302 wheels stolen right out of the dealership here in spring , texas.


NO ONES WHEELS ARE SAFE...FORD OR CHEVY

They'll just hammer a smaller socket on them and be gone. Don't get me wrong, I've used locking lug nuts and they are better than nothing, but someone that is casing your car can just pay $15 or whatever for the lug nuts and get the same key.

My rims are safe. No one steals stock 17 inch bullets.

A Jacksonville Jaguars football player had his 30 inch rims stolen off his SUV here in Jax. Selling stolen 30 inch rims must be like trying to sell the hope diamond.

Those are just deterrents for people that don't know what they are doing. It only takes an extra 5-10 second per wheel to remove a locking lug nut. Not that I steal wheels (lol) but I've removed more then my fair share.

5-10 second per wheel for a generic, easy locking lug, maybe.. and that is the majority of the ones out there. there are some quality ones out there that you can't just hammer a socket over though.
