If the hoop still flutters, you might try and remove the seal that runs across the back edge of the hood to allow air to pass...might help.

No plans to paint it as my car is black. It is definitely not for everyone, but I do appreciate the compliments!
I'm pretty sure that a 2013 hood would fit on a 2011-2012, but you would have to do the front bumper at the same time as the leading edge of the hood would look unfinished.

I like the design of the hood vent, but also like the fact that it will help keep underhood temps and keep the pressure down.
I'm not really into non-functional accessories. I have a GT500 rear spoiler, but only because I didn't want to fill and paint the holes after removing the factory pedestal spoiler.
