this is gonna take a minute to grow on me. Your car doesnt change much, and I don't know how I feel about you changing something I have come to count on.lol

Just f'in with ya man, looks good. If you like it...I like it, ya know.
If the hoop still flutters, you might try and remove the seal that runs across the back edge of the hood to allow air to pass...might help.

I would have prefered the 07-09 GT500 dual side vents myself, but you must be the one to like it.

Good question Flash! His job looks pro for sure, will he paint it later? I've thought about
cutting vents where the "Spears" are being placed on the 11&12 model hoods.

Only if your 2012 is a GT500... The '13s changed their front grille area to the style on the 2010+ GT500.

No plans to paint it as my car is black. It is definitely not for everyone, but I do appreciate the compliments!

I'm pretty sure that a 2013 hood would fit on a 2011-2012, but you would have to do the front bumper at the same time as the leading edge of the hood would look unfinished.

Sorry I gotta say thumbs down on this one..you have a beautiful car, I would have gone with a hood scoop instead..just my 2 cents...maybe if it's painted it would look better.

I like the design of the hood vent, but also like the fact that it will help keep underhood temps and keep the pressure down.

I'm not really into non-functional accessories. I have a GT500 rear spoiler, but only because I didn't want to fill and paint the holes after removing the factory pedestal spoiler.

To each their own!
