redlined my 03 GT hundreds of times, mabe thousands

my 2012 rev limiter is quite a bit different than the 03 rev limiter. 2012 shuts off fuel and makes no noise just loses power and the 2003 seemed to bounce around rev limiter.

Also have over revved a suzuki gs500 motorcycle which had no rev limiter, i over revved it like 20 times atleast and had no issues.

redlined a cbr1000rr multiple times also with no issues.

Always wait until the engine is warmed up before pushing the engine hard though and you shouldnt have any issues.

I shift at 6500 rpm everytime I drag race...which is several dozen times per year.

Don't worry about her doing it...you should be encouraging it. It'll lead to more money for power upgrades:-)
