wheels get hit by a lot of things. plastidip is a temporary solution that will look terrible over time.

powdercoat preferred, duplicolor wheel paint as a second option.

I plasti-dipped mine .. but like it so much I will eventually get them powder coated.

Personally, I think plasti-dip would be the best temporary solution for him. He needs to make sure he likes the wheels black, before making it permanent. If he doesn't like the black look, he can just peel the plasti-dip off, unlike paint. Thanks!

Guys... Nothing will stick on chrome in the long run, not even powder coating.
Just get one chip and it's all over real quick.

And stick your plasti-dip where the sun doesn't shine if you don't have a Civic, lol.

My buddy decided to move forward and we plast-dipped the wheels yesterday. We prepped/cleaned the wheels and sprayed 4 coats on each wheel.

Here's a few pics! Next on the list is painting the calipers red, to add an accent color behind the black wheels.
