Default Carseat for Mustang, parents input please.

Can you point me in the right direction for a car seat that will fit easily in the backseat and that takes up the least amount of room for a 2.5 yr old.

What have you guys got, and photos would help if you don't mind.

Thanks in advance!

You should check the weight rating on the seats/child. You might get away with just the booster and they are easy in-out.

I've used the Graco for th elast year or so. My son is 2 years and 2 months and the seat gives my wife enough room to lean way back. He does kick the back of her seat a little but once you know your going to have a baby in the car you kind of just give up trying to keep it a certain way. The seat locks in and has anothe latch for the hook behind the rear seat head area. And it lookslike he will use it until he is about 3 or a little more. He looks very comfy. If you want I can give you the model numer.

Only a front-facing non-convertible will fit easily. I have a recaro in my truck but I have used it in the mustang a couple times

Yeah if you don't mind I want to look at it. We have one that we use in my Grand Cherokee but that's much bigger interior space wise.

I figure I could find a slimmer carseat for the Mustang so I don't have to worry about switching them back and forth. I can see that being a pain with a coupe.

I saw that, and read through it, but was just curious on the 2011+ interiors, aren't they larger inside? If I'm mistaken I apologize just wanted some newer input with the newer carseats on the market.

Thanks though.

One thing to note is that because the backseat has this bump in the middle, if your car seat has a wide bottom it may not fit in and lean to one side. I ended up using big folded towel to even it.

And from my experience, any decent car seat for a 2.5 years old will require you to pull the front seat forward, or get kicked all the time. If you have just one kid you may put it on the right side, but if you have more like me - be ready to compromise. It's not the best car to carry toddlers for more than short distances. I still like it, though :-)
