Dryer sheets in the engine bay and the exhaust and the interior work to. Been doing it for years.

Yup, I use moth ***** and dryer sheets in the engine bay and scatter the sheets under the car and in the interior, along with one of those things that captures moisture in the interior. Went great last year.

It's also a good idea to use steel wool in the exhaust tips.

Thanks for the suggestions, especially about the dryer sheets, I didn't know about that one.

2cokeman - I called it a shed, but it's really more of a garage. My Dad and I built it. It's away from the house, but near some woods.

Tex-stang - Do you have a source for mouse traps? A couple of pallets should do it

Too funny! I'd like to see the payback!

My detached garage backs up to a small wooded area and I've fought field mice for years.

One thing I've learned is to NEVER store any kind of food out there. I once left a pack of catsup in a hip bag and they smelled it out and made a nest.

I place traps regularly and that seems to thin them out.

Moth ***** seem like a good idea for the coming winter.
