Default Dam you Sandy!

I used to say that my 2006 Mustang didn't have your typical early S197 issues, but driving home in the horrible rain yesterday I hear drip, drip, drip, and discover a pool on my passenger floor.

Damn you Sandy!!!

Check your grommets for leaves/debris! Hopefully that's what's going on. Happened to me before, haven't seen it since.

I keep checking my vents, grommets and filters, but I still wait for the dreaded drip.

I plan on opening her up this week at work and getting at it with a vacuum and some compressed air. I haven't been in the cowl for about 30,000 miles, so debris is a possibility.

My Lloyds mat soaked up a lot of it, and I threw down some beach towels. Gonna run the heater on "Max Floor" tomorrow all the way to work. Hopefully just a one time thing!

Yeah, I don't think that feeling could be put into words. I'm up in the mountains, so flooded basements is about as bad as it gets.

Nothing can be worse than that, thats why we have insurance and hopefully you did. I live on the outer banks, this area received its typical damage when storms get close or come through here however I was back in my hometown of bedford pa to watch the steelers game, so I fortunately kinda missed the storm when it got bad for both areas. To OP after checking and cleaning the grommets, double check your sbj and make sure its dry.

(Sorry typing from phone) Smart junction box, located in the passenger kick panel, most electrical gremlins start there from the water leak. Been to cumberland numerous times we use to scrimmage Fort Hill in football and basketball.
