Default Water Slushing Around Behind Dash?? - Check Charging System? Electrical issues?

I need any advice I can get here.. I am hearing water sloshing around behind my dash, and my battery gauge is sometimes low but when I take a corner it moves to the middle.. the car can be jump started and run but then the lights and stuff go out.. shouldn't the car die completely if it was the alternator?

Something is odd here.. I had the clogged drian pipe 2 weeks ago but fixed it, now I am having these problems..

Could the Smart Junction Box be fried form it, would that cause an alternator or related failure?

Also what could the water sloshing around behind the dash be? I assume its under the cowel area, but I just fixed the clog drian pipe..

The "check charging system" happened from me blasting the heat because it wasnt hot enough, could this be a bad heater core? Would that cause the water sounds?

Trying to make any sense of these issues

If you're trying to make sense of electrical issues, then I'd suspect your TSB got wet/is getting wet but the clogged cowl drains alone wouldn't affect the SJB. And it's possible there are other things in play such as the bad stepper motors in the 05 and earlier 06 gauge clusters; the weak alternator affecting the battery and vice versa...

Did you unplug the driver side drain as well?

I'd check it if you're still hearing water after cleaning the passenger side.

I'll try that now

We just tested the alternator, its putting out 14.25.. Doesnt that mean its good?

So whats wrong with the charging system.. it IS making an annoying squeeling/humming sound.. its not the belt, I just dont know how to describe the sound.. (I know squeeling sounds like the belt).. belt is fine..

someone local say it could be the voltage regulator? does this make any sense?

Are you sure the sloshing is coming from the hood area? Maybe check the rubber covered drain holes at the bottom of each door.

I dont know anything about the rubber covered drain holes at the bottom of each door, is there any material on that and how to check?

but im sure its behind the dash.. could this be heater core leak?
