Question How many miles did you get out of your OEM clutch?

I was told by a mechanic that a Ford OEM clutch typically lasts up to 70K miles or so.

Is this accurate?

My slave cylinder/throw out bearing went out at 65K miles and I decided to replaced out everything, except for the master cylinder.

Curious, how many miles did you get out of your original OEM clutch?

My throw out bearing went out around 30k, replaced under warranty.

The clutch is still going around 50k and 7 years. I'm not too experienced on how a clutch should feel and what is a "slipping" clutch but it engages with very little travel on the pedal.

Wow, only 30K on the throw out bearing!

At least it was still under warranty.

Yeah I can't even remember what it was doing, but I remember having to have it replaced. Around the same time the fuel pump needed to be replaced.

20,000! Then I got grease on my second one and it lasted me 20,000. 3rd times the charm.

Oh, 8,000 of the first 20,000 was supercharged.

Changed mine as preemptive maintenance at about 6 or 7 thousand miles in preparation for boost.

If you know how to drive manual... you should get between 100-120k out of the factory clutch
