Your engine is not always under boost with any blower or turbo. The boost by pass valve bleeds off the boost it makes until you pass a certain throttle position. It will drive like a normal gt, but have way more power everywhere.

My only problem with nitrous is refilling the bottle, bottle warmers, basically more to think about.

Nitrous is too dangerous for DD car. I'm assuming its a daily driver I ur worried power when ur not mashing on the pedal. I have twelve lbs if boost on my stroker motor and boost don't kick in until hits a certain rpm range, and if I ease into the higher rpms it doesn't build boost. There's a lot to go wrong with nitrous in my eyes. I've seen and heard a lot of horror stories of bottle blues, guys scorching pistons and dropping valves. Guess if u go the cheaper route now and blow ur stock block n parts you can drop the cash the second time around on doing it right with a charger or turbo. Best of luck!

Plus u have to keep paying to have the bottle refilled. Boost/air is free!

Also in most states nitrous use on the street is illegal.

simple solution - remove the fake gt500 badges.

Yes get those badges off of there. That is the #1 no no in the auto world....fake badges. It sounds like you bought it that way so its not your fault but its BS, take em off.

Nitrous......no f#cking way. Really bad idea. Supercharger, hell no another bad idea. Your 16 and dont have the budget for repairs. Just do some gears and get a tune-cai from brenspeed. That alone will liven up the car a lot.

How bout some pics too.

As stated above, unless you have a pool of money to rely on for repairs, say no to the S/C, especially if done half azzed. That includes nitrous.

You're currently at about 265 RWHP stock. Two biggest power gainers other than going FI are the CAI & tune and cams & LT's. Either combo will net you about 20-25 RWHP. After that it's nickle and dime power gains.

Save your money for a house. Spend a little of it to get it out of your system on something like a CAI then squirrel the rest away. I guess I'm officially old since I'm giving advice to teens that my parents would. FML
