Nice ride! I'd go with cold air intake & tune it will really open up your cars potential.. Exhaust too would be a good idea also if they are not already done...

Must agree, nice looking ride, and remove the badges! And if u put a charger on ur car it won't be in use all the time. While the supercharger is always spinning and moving air, it is not always producing boost in the engine. Boost is a function of engine load and RPM. The majority of the time your supercharger will not be producing boost. The supercharger produces boost under high load conditions which may include heavy acceleration, going uphill, passing a car, etc.

Dont listen to the guys saying remove the badges. For that car in particular, the badges fit the theme whether its supercharged or not. At least it isnt a damn V6 car dressed up. I am assuming the exhaust is already done, so go for a CAI and a tune and enjoy the car. I thought I was on top of the world with my old '89 GT in high school, but your car is beautiful. You dont have to be the fastest out there to have fun with it.

the way i see it, using nitrous is like having unprotected sex with a prostitute; its going to feel good in the process, but you're going to be afraid of the consequences in the end.

Best bang for your money, get a cold air intake and a tune.

I don't plan on removing any badges because the previous owner went all the way into the interior and trunk to make it look like a real cobra. My cervini kit rubs on everything though so now I have to replace my rear 275/35-20 with 275/45-20. I have only 2 inches clearance and unfortunately have to put some taller rear tires. In the process I was thinking about putting in some 4.30 gears since to wheel will be 29.5 inches tall and also do a cai with brenspeed tune. Any input on this setup?

When you said it looked like a cobra, I assumed you meant a new cobra, not a 67 shelby gt500. Nobody that knows mustangs is going to think your car has 500hp, but they may expect it to be fast with all that's done to the outside.

A 275/45/20 is almost 30 inches tall! That's a little to tall imo. You might have problems with the ABS. You could get 295/35/20's and it would be .5 inches taller and look more agressive, assuming your rims are wide enough.

Well I measured a speed bump today and it was 3 1/4 inches tall. I only have 2 inches clearance and I need another 1 1/2. 275/40-20 does not give me an inch and a half. Dcenti makes the d9000 which is what I am looking at. They are 29.6 inches tall and are used on Porsches and what not. I have to do something since it is my daily driver. I will post pictures up when all is said and done. I rather just change my tires again instead of taking the chance if my body moldings getting ripped off. What do you think of 4.30 gears?

I think 4.10's are plenty even with a 30 inch rear tire. Are you planning to change your front tires to a 29.6 inch tire? you'll have problems with a tire that tall.

Getting taller tires is not the solution. changing the springs back to stock or even buying coilovers would be better. It might even be cheaper, because those tires aren't cheap.

I'm not doing anything to the front tire. I hop by raising the rear slightly (since it is level right now) I can clear most speed bumps or only slightly scrape. I also think that it will give it a real muscular look like the old cars that lean forward a little bit. We will see and I will post pictures when done
