Default Should I buy a 2010 or 2011

I'm looking for opinions on which to buy. I'm looking at two Mustangs. The first is a 2010 GT in red candy metallic, 5-speed manual, and love the wheels. It only has 3,000 miles. The second is a 2011 GT/CS in race red, 6-speed manual, and love the wheels. This one has 33,000 miles. Both are the exact same price. The one I buy will be my second car that I will primarily only be driving on weekends and nice days so I won't be putting a lot of mileage on it. Not much driving during the winter as I live in Massachusetts. So basically, the 2011 GT/CS is sharper looking imo but the 2010 only has 3,000 miles. Of course the 2011 has 412 hp so that's always nice.

I'd love to hear your opinions. Thanks.

drive both and see which one is your preference! I would take the 2011. it'd be nice to have a 'practically new' stang, too, but I think you will find the 5.0 is worth taking a car with 30k more miles on it!

no competition. Get the 2011, the engine alone is worth it.

Well I'm partial to the GTCS style and graphics so I'd probably go for that. Actually I had the exact 2010 you are looking at and its a decent car but you would have to drop big money to get that one up to 400+ HP.

The 2011 has more miles but also has the better transmission and the later version of sync (mine was a POS and didn't work right half the time). People couldt even hear me clearly on the hands free phone. Plus they updated the suspension and exhaust (I believe) for 2011. There's many good reasons to go for the 2011 car. It even gets better MPG!

Good luck,

Tom

I remember I was shopping around at the end of 2010, and I found it impossible to pass by the 2011. There were great deals on the 2010s but the power changes and everything really convinced me.

I'd go 2011...you'll love the hell out of the engine.

Lovin' our 2011 GT/CS 6 speed manual. Should be no question about which to get. I test the high-speed shifting every time I drive it.....wife even enjoys it.

I have a 2010 GT I have had for a year and JUST put a CAI and tune on it. I love my 2010. Either way, the first thing you have to do is get a CAI and performance tune. Good luck, keep us posted.

I would get the 11, 5.0 GT/CS 6 speed you can't go wrong.
