Default Stubby Antenna

I just bought a FA-series stubby antenna from Carccessory for my '06 Mustang and it does not fit! The original antenna mast has #10-24 thread and the closest adapter supplied with the stubby antenna has #10-32 thread. Anybody else have this same problem? Carccessory claims they have never had this complaint before.

When I bought my 14" shorty from AM, it came with multiple thread adapters, IIRC. Sorry to hear you've had an issue with Carccessory (btw, never heard of them).

22" shorter than the stock buggy whip and still sufficient to pull in fringe stations when needed. It's about level with the roof line so it's not too... vulgar.

Just washed my car after being salted for the past few day, I made the mistake in taking her through a car wash, found my antenna missing.....hopefully, I still have the original antenna..

So glad I managed to get mine shaved off. Even the stubby antenna was an eye sore

Yea, stubbies have caused many a sore eye
when they are accidentally encountered during
washing or waxing...

I keep mine up out of eye reach...

What good are looks if you cant see them???

I made my own. Went to the Auto wreckers, found a good one, cost me $2.00. Cut it to the size I wanted. Pulled the bead off of the top and epoxyed it onto the tip after I filed it down. Spray painted it, works perfectly.
