Thanks guys.. Koni's it is... I bought her to drive.. and drive I do... one of my favorite pass times is blasting down farm roads in Southern Illinois... so she's earned some new shocks/struts..

You won't regret getting them, they also have a lifetime warranty.

If you are doing autocross check and see if the koni yellows will put you in a different class since they are adjustable.

I've got Hot Rods, so I'm already in Factory Modified with the race cars... :eyeroll: I just race the clock against my previous times..

I've ordered new FCS 1332349 strut/coil spring/mount assemblies as well as Dorman lower control arms with ball joints and bushings to address a front tire cupping issue on our 2006 GT Convertible with 64,000 miles on NW Indiana roads.

Pretty much an entire front suspension redo. Gotta love Rock Auto, $357 delivered for everything.

The front tires have been rotated to the rear, Dunlop SP Signature 235 50R18 with ~25,000 miles on them.

The car came with the A arm brace. Would a strut tower brace help also?

Mostly a strut tower brace helps quiet down cowl shake and other NVH.

They benefit convertibles considerably more than they do coupes.

I replaced the OEM control arms and struts over the weekend, the ride is more solid. This should fix the tire cupping issue I've been having.

Why the off brand stuff besides price? For the Strut Mounts and Lower Control arms I would've done the FRPP parts. Same as the 2008+ GT500 and same as used on the 2010+ GT. I'm curious how Dorman holds up since they probably used REV 1 of both of those parts which both do not hold up well.

I've installed the FRPP upper strut mounts and cured about 80-90% of the clunking. Lower control arms I have, just haven't put them in yet. Struts were also done when I did the mounts.
