Default 2013 and 2014 Interior

I've been thinking about upgrading from my own base 12 v6 to a new GT for a while now. My base v6 rattles a ton on the interior because of all he hard plastics used. The gauge user rattles, the passenger door and Window rattles, the driver Window rattles and it drives me nuts. Did Ford make a nicer interior on the GTs in these 13 and 14 years? I know it's a mustang, but lord... The rattling lol.

Pretty sure it's the same interior.

aside from steering wheel and seats, interior should be the same. try nicer steering wheel and vinyl wrap on dash. and tightening up the panels so they don't make noise.

I'm curious as to how many miles on your pony, I have a 3.7 2012 and I have no rattles
at 13,500 miles driven.

I don't have any rattles on my '13 GT. Everything is nice and tight.

2012 GT Convertible here. No rattles or annoying noises in mine with 31K miles. I had a 2002 GT Convertible and the only time it didn't rattle was when turned off in the driveway! So maybe anything is better than my old one.

GhostStrykre, I think mine and your car were built either on a Monday morning when nobody wanted to come back to work or Friday afternoon before a long holiday weekend when everyone was anxious to get the hell outta there. My '11 premium has had a few annoying rattles from day one.
After owning 7 Mustangs from '89 to now this one probably has more annoying noises coming from the interior than any others I've owned. I had a 2010 with virtually the exact same interior and had no noises.

No rattles on my Premium 2013. Leather is comfy and the interior is a major upgrade over the 2005-2009.

Dang, yeah I have driven my mustang about 23,000 miles and the rattles are really bad. I mean he'll, the panel over the air bag doesn't fit tightly. It pops out and i have to push it back in sometimes. The engine has been great, rock solid in fact, but the rattles I have to sit next to.

I'm considering going to another brand. Nicer interior. It sounds like these rattles are somewhat rare, but i really don't trust the hard plastic door panels and such. Ugh. Why Ford? Why? Haha

2010 V6 Mustang here, 33k miles on it and no rattles from the interior. Only sound I have is a squeaky driver's seat which drives me crazy. Other than that, everything is nice and tight.
