Just installed cams
Hey guys,
I just installed the Ford Hot Rod Racing Cams yesterday. The only other mod I have done so far is a cat back borla atak exhaust. After the install I tuned to 93 Octane and for some reason it just doesnt sound as aggressive as I though it would have.
My questions is, what should I mod next if anything to make those cams really thump? Maybe long tubes? I do plan on throwing some 4.10's on in a few weeks but I just dropped $750 + $400 on the cams and install.

First off, define aggressive...are you talking idle lobe?
If so you can try a couple of things.
Adjust your idle with your handheld. Around 700-750rpm
Produces the ideal lobe with my dr cams.
Try different octane tunes. While mine is a beast with
A 93 octane tune, the 87 produces the most lobe at idle.
Hope this helps!

thanks man! I felt no low end loss at all, and no difference in drive ability. I have the 373's now but will be installing 410's in the next few weeks.
