Default New clutch installed!

Had a McLeod Street Twin clutch, throw-out bearing and steel flywheel installed today. Took a few shifts to get use to it, engages alot quicker than the old stock clutch. Still pumping the pedal every once in a while to clear whatever air bubbles may still be in the lines. Guess I'll take it easy for a while until it's broken in. Have a new altenator as well.

The McLeod Clutches are awesome that's for sure. I was wondering what you did for the alternator. Where did you pick it up? Was it new or re-manufactured? How much? I hear there is a guy in MI who does a great job rebuilding them. I was thinking about doing that. Any suggestions?

Hammeron - I see that the Street Twin and RST are two different clutck kits, correct? I noticed that one was rated up to 1200hp and the other was rated up to 800hp. Any other differences?

Congrats!
I had my old clutch replaced out with an OEM clutch and it grabbed really low for a couple of weeks. It took awhile to get used to it. After several weeks of driving, the clutch started catching a little farther up and was easier to drive.

Educate me - how long does it take for a new clutch to be broken in? I have problems putting it in 1st gear, seems to become easier as the car warms up. Is this normal?

The mechanic said that it does not take long for the clutch to break in. He said within a week, I can start driving more aggressive. I don't recall having issues shifting into 1st gear, however I do remember experiencing notchy/clunky shifting, so I had the shop do a transmission flush, which helped.
