Smile 2013 GTCS new member question...

Hello, I'm new to this forum but not to mustangs, my dad has been having them since I can remember we got quite a stable now and I just got my 2013 GTCS, The stock pirellis make the care look weird so I want new tires I have NIttos in mind but I can't seem to find how wide the wheels on the CS package are so I can't know which size to order...

The wheels are 8.5" wide. Same as 19" GT wheels. If you're keeping stock wheels, buy the same size tires that came with the car. They should be 245/45/19 which is the same as the GT tires. You could definitely go to a 255 width if you like. Anything bigger than 265 will bulge too much on GT/CS wheels.

Might as well get new wheels if you're getting new tires. Just a thought.

just go outside and look at the side of the tires. write down the measurements and order those sizes (should all be the same). done

Thanks, And my tires are brand new I want to change them because the tires look too mall for the car, I love my rims and can't think about changing them. I was thinking of going 275 on the back and 255 on the front but can I do that? No local tire shop seems to know and I don't want to screw with the car.

When I went to Discount Tire here, they put on a set of tires that I didn't like, though I thought I would, and changed them out for free. Sometimes you have to see them on the car before you know for sure. Discount treated me well, since we have both Mustangs going there. But, I'm sure I couldn't push my luck too far, and wouldn't want to, but they were understanding. And I was able to drive around a couple of weeks on those new tires, till the ones I really liked came in. That's why I go to Discount.

Look on driver side door seal, two stickers one shows tires/rims/air pressure.
