help guys i got 2005 mustang gt 5 speed with a pypes bomb muffler delete and planing on getting the intake and a handheld bama tunner does it really make a big difference? in speed and poer you can feel??
i'm actually wondering the same thing.. I currently just got the Roush axle back and was thinking of throwing on an intake was wondering if its a noticable power difference with Bama tuner!
I put on a steeda cai and a bama tune. Made a huge difference over the stock intake and no tune...I added a bbk throttle body later and that made a difference...less than the intake and tune, but still noticeable.
Also the intake changed my exhaust sound for the better.
Steeda Intake/Tuner should be the first mod done to the mustang. It's a noticeable difference, and a good gateway mod. Tackle suspension next or gearing.
Don't rule out the boys at brenspeed for a tuner/intake combo. I have tunes from both bama and brenspeed, but only load the brenspeed tunes...
hint, hint

Yes you're going to love all the gains from a Bama tune and CAI combo kit!
We installed just about the exact same modifications you have and are looking to purchase. We picked up 36+RWHP and 30+RWTQ, from just a Bama custom tune, CAI and O/R X-pipe!
Here's a little bit about how we write our tunes! For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
