You see, I had the same concerns with my '07. The first tiny job I had no felt padding installed and within a year, the scratches were just awful. Then I had it redone winter of '11 and had them install moleskin (installer, a kid, didn't even know what it was and I had to explain the process then monitor his work...). I park in a surface lot 5 days a week from 6-4 in Orlando and so far not a single scratch. Moleskin is holding up very well in the Florida heat

I installed the moleskin after I noticed I was getting scratches on my 06. Now 3.5 years later the moleskin is breaking up or something. I'm getting a glue like smudge in the middle of my window. Gonna have to take it apart and see what's up.

OP....don't ever change your sig pic....I love those ladies you have collected! Nicely done.

Got a link? I've been waiting for this too happen as well, lol...My tint is scratched beyond repair so I'll have to re-tint

Yeah, I may have been wrong on my pricing. I am pretty sure I got them from Tousley for around 40-60 a set. The outter strips aren't cheap tho.

No moleskin here bro, and I have no scratches. BUT, I do get some weird "squeegee" sounds sometimes from my windows rolling up/down when it's wet outside. Not sure if this is due to the rain water, or maybe there is some exposed rubber somewhere contacting the glass, idk. But it hasn't left one single scratch yet so I haven't done anything about it.

I did see another forum member recommend this dry lube stuff for the windows, to keep friction down, so that might help a bit. Haven't tried it myself yet.

I've had my tint on my 09 for around 7 months now and haven't noticed any scratching of the tint.

I have the Slightest rub marks. But they are very, very faint and I'd have to look for them to see it.

05 thru 07 were bad about scratching tint due to not having any felt on the inside door wiper. (probably not right term) When they revised that part in 08 because of all the complaints I purchased the 08 complete window trim pieces. Very easy to do.

The thing is some tint shops use cheap home based moleskin.

Use Tint Protector's moleskin felt and you won't have an issue. I've had in on my 05 for years and years with no more scratches.

I wish tint shops didn't cheap out and use the good stuff.
