Default Window Louvers and unpainted parts

Wanted to put matte black window louvers on my white GT. I was planning on buying them off American Muscle.com the pre painted ones run 189.99 and the unpainted ones run 119.99. The unpainted ones look a matte black the way they are. Would it be ok to just install them without painting?

The matte black louvers will actually be prepped and painted whatever color you go with. Compared to the Unpainted version which will just be the ABS plastic unprepped/unpainted.

Whatever option you're more comfortable with is fine with us. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance!

I doubt you'd be happy with the look of the unpainted abs plastic. It's not matte black.

Thanks for the advice, would it wear over time?

Any plastic will have it's base color fade in the sun.

Hey WhiteLight,

I also have a Performance White 2013. I purchased the unpainted version when I first bought my car because I was going for that black wheels on white theme. Needless to say, it does not look right. Go with something that's already prepped. I sold mine to someone on Craigslist a few months ago. If I go with louvers again, it will be painted already from American Muscle.
