Default Think I'm screwed

So as above I think I screwed up I was removing the crank pulley on my 05gt and after removing the crank bolt I forgot to put it back on before using the pulley puller and without paying attention I threaded the pulley puller into the block, then like an idiot I realized my mistake and removed the pulley puller and put the bolt in the hole however it would not thread so I put the puller over the bolt and toved the crank pulley in dpi g so I screwed up the threads on the bolt as well. I managed to get the installer bolt to thread into the block and push the new crank pulley onto the block.

So now that your all laughing because I'm an idiot,

Can I just use the new installer bolt? It's tight and flush at the correct torque specs.

Btw I have yet to try and crank it.

I honestly have no idea, If you weren't doing something to Void your warranty, I'd recommend giving Ford a call and asking.

You'll have to tap it out to the next size bolt that will fit. I haven't seen the crank bolt on these cars but if they have a wide washer type shoulder you'll also need to find washers that can substituted for the missing shoulder on the replacement bolt.

You can use helicoil but I'm not too keen on those in general. They have a tendancy to work themselves loose over time. Not what you need to worry about on a crank.
