Thumbs down stage 3 clutch, misss 2nd and 3rd

Im needing some help, I have a 2010 gt with a 5 speed. I burnt the factory clutch up at 19k miles doing burn outs and had to replace it. I put a stage 2 centerforce clutch in and have been having problems hitting 2nd and 3rd in real high rmps with the traction control off. any suggestions??

Learn how to shift? Obviously seems to be an issue if you toasted a clutch @ 19,000.... Lol

Also, did you go through the break in process?

damn, 19k! Im at 94k on my stock one and have done plenty of burnouts and been to the drag strip. Like Redfire said, did you break it in? How many miles do you have on the new clutch?

Sounds more like a transmission or shifter issue than a clutch issue. Synchros may be bad, or you may just need a good aftermarket shifter.

it wont go into gear while racing, daily driving its fine. it will go into gear if it is forced or you give it 2 seconds. I checked the trans fluid and its fine. so my next thought would be maybe the slave cylinder maybe needed to be upgraded or the synchros maybe needing replaced. but I have heard that in some of the newer cars that the shifter is mounted in the console instead of the being mounted to the trans so it can have problems lining up to go in gear so the hurst shifter would clear it up.... but I figured I would ask on a forum and see if anyone out there has had this happen to heard of this and could give me advise on what I need to do to get this fixed....

It could be due to the stock shifter, I know the stock shifter was a pain in the *** to get into gear sometimes. And yes because its a remote mounted shifter.
