Default 2013 GT/CS gauges in a '11 V6? Possible?

So I picked up a gauge cluster out of a wrecked GT/CS (less than 6000 miles ) because I LOVE the look. I didnt know at the time if it would work in pre-13 cars due to a few things but for the price ($250) I decided to take a chance.

Now to the questions:
1. Will it work without modifications? Its the same size as the current clusters
2. Do all '13s come with the TrackPak app? (looking online this seems to be the main thing stopping most people from trying this swap)
3. *IF*(big if) it works can the mileage be changed to reflect how many miles are on my current car?
4. What else am I missing that might cause a problem with this not working? PATS system?

I am willing to be a Guinea pig to see if it works but I am afraid of frying my computer or harness plugging this thing in...
Thanks,
Matthew

First I don't think it will fry anything plugging it in. Second it will cost you around $150.00 to just have it programed to your car just to get it to start and last not sure if the middle part of the gauges will work, would be nice if it would ?

My main concern would be if the screen in the center will work. Should be no harm in plugging it in.

Well I will say I dont care if the Track Ap works or not. I just want the rest to work. Mileage, MPG, oil life, RPM's, MPH.

Plug it in ... but keep in mind car will not start with a different cluster in it due to the anti Theft system. That would need to be reprogrammed at the dealer. However ... you should be able to start car with your factory cluster and then swap clusters while car is running to see if new cluster is working.

If you don't want to do that .. you should just sell it to me ...

If you really want it. PM me. I just shelled out money for other parts and the wife is making me get rid of a few things...

If one of you finds out if it works or not let me know. I'm dying to know if the 2013 cluster will work in the 10-12 series.
