My bad... I'm so used to seeing my deck lid blacked out, it didn't occur to me that people still do it.

I'm wondering if I could do that over my stripes then peel it off without the vinyl coming up...

I'm guessing that would work fine, the only part that I could see being bad is that it will take at least 3 coats. I did I think 5-7 I can't even remember. The instructions say apply once ever four hours but I did it once every hour or so and it turned out perfectly fine. I think next weekend ill take the pressure washer to it and see if it holds up like it does on the YouTube videos I saw. When I first applied it I had over spray and peeled that section off and it really does come off just like in the videos of it on YouTube. The glossifier can also be used to prevent rock chips on your front bumper if you just spray your bumper down.

I'm starting to sound like a salesperson for these guys lol. I promise I'm not!!!

Withstood the pressure washer perfectly fine which was my main concern.

I sprayed mine a couple hours after I put it on and it was fine. Also, I only waited 15 minutes max between coats.

I think I'm going to redo mine next weekend or add more coats and try to fix a few tiny spots I sprayed too close at
