Default How to do a Mustang right...

Went to a car show yesterday and they had some gorgeous Mustangs. I didn't even get them all...

Didn't get a picture of the engine bay on this, but it was incredible.

Not a big fan of the cut out grilles, but the car is nice.

The car that made the show for me...

And if none of that works for you, how about taking an '81 Chevette, dropping the 3.8 out of a Camaro in it, topping it off with a supercharger, and if all of that isn't enough, notice the nitrous bottle in the back...

I think the proper term here is 'No ****s Given...'

A few nice cars there. Wonder what the numbers on that 3.8 puts out.

That Chevette is a 1978 model (I once had one and am man enough to admit it). Beginning in 1979, they went to square headlamps. They also changed the back end of the car in 1980 (my mom had one). Gotta give him props for that unusual vehicle!

Anyway, there was a guy in PA back during the late 1980s who took a '78 Chevette and dropped a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 from a wrecked 1986 Buick {Regal} Grand National into it. He used a rear axle from a larger car (Impala?), so it looked very awkward -- but that damn thing would run like a raped ape. He could smoke almost anything in the 1/4 mile and could pull the front wheels off the ground under hard acceleration. You figure a Chevette barely weighs 2,000 pounds and with a 250+hp engine, that is a great power to weight ratio.

Thanks for the pics!
