Need Help Have a Check engine light on my dash!
hey guys i just got a check engine light on my car and i got it scanned at auto zone there was 3 codes that came up
1.C1446
2.U1900
3.P0455
I've been able to find out what two of the codes are 1.C1446 Brake Switch Circuit Failure. and 3. P0455 Evap canister broke, hose cracked or not connected or purge vent solenoid defective. i need help trying to figure out what the second code is and what modules could be shorted out from it, and where are the modules located. kinda new to this so i need your help on where each module is located. i have 2005 V6 Ford Mustang 4.0L

try running the scanner on it again but this time pull your emergency brake. if not find somebody with a good scanner at a garage, the 1st and 2nd codes are related. it could be the brake switch under the pedal. is it your abs light or just check engine light?

thanks I'll take it in a shop and see if they get a better scan than the one at auto zone. and it's only the check engine light that's on not the abs light I'll definitely try seeing if it's the module behind the pedal

The first and second codes are not related. U1900 is a can bus communication fault..... probably from when they plugged in the tester. P0455 is the only code there that would turn the check engine light, Which is for a large evap system leak. Most likely the gas cap is off or you tore one of the vapor lines off of the canister. ( The canister is on the bottom of the spare tire well on the bottom of the car.)
