I am trying my best to finish up a GT conversion. I need a driveshaft and rearend. I figured I would just get a aluminum one made instead of trying to find a driveshaft. That still leads me to the problem of getting the rearend so does anyone have the hookup

Junk Yard for 8.8. They are a dime a dozen. then you can replace gears and axles to whatever you need

NTO still sells 8.8s? Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I thought they ran out of them a long time ago.

OP, I rarely come across mustang 8.8s anymore online, honestly I've seen a few on CL and maybe one or two so far on Ebay but they usually have like 4.30 gears or something ridiculous lol.

I know you can buy them brand new from quite a few sites, but you'll be paying north of $1K.

I just looked and they do not sell them any more. Sorry for the confusion. I have not looked at their web site i quite a while.

Just have to look around, if you want a new one you can pay $1400 at AM.

New take off does get them from time-to-time. Their inventory changes almost daily sometimes...

Just keep looking or to to a junkyard to find a good one.
