Default Headlights and fogs on a gt

Okay, I feel like an idiot asking this but how on earth do you have the fogs and the heads on in an s197? I feel like a complete idiot asking but I can only get one or the other on not both.

On my 07 GT you just turn on the headlights and then pull the switch out to turn on the fog lights.

06gtman - do you have the brights on as well? If so, the fogs don't light up. They only work with the low beams.

It's okay, I was so mad when I first bought it because I thought the foglights didn't work. Like Moronix said, just turn on the headlights then pull the **** out a bit. I think it's in the owner's manual, just took me a minute to understand what it was saying.

Thanks guys, but i am leaning towards that my low beams aren't working properly. When I turn the headlights on (without the highbeams) i get just the headlights, when i pull the switch out the headlights turn off and the fogs turn on. Is this just me?

Something is messed up if the low beams turn off with the fogs on. You should be able to run low beams and fog lights no problem. The only time the fogs turn off is if you put the high beams on.

Do the fogs work when you got the high beams on? Previous owner might have rewired something.

...unless you have the ignition switch on and then turn it off. The ignition switch needs to be on for the fogs to work. But, yes, something is messed up on your car.
