600+ is definitely possible. Just look at my dyno results. However, it is petty unnecessary. I am actually looking into dropping mine back into the 500's until I can upgrade to forged internals. If you get anywhere near that high you better be ready to upgrade your suspension, tires, driveshaft, etc.

You're supercharged, and it's pretty easy to get to 600 that way, the OP was asking about getting there NA...

Actually to the OP, you may want to go with a good nitrous kit, they are fairly cheap and will give you the power you crave when you need the fix.

I see that now, I misread it at first. But my point still stand about what the OP will need to upgrade if he gets anywhere near the rwhp he is wanting.

Everyone wants a supercharger, but if you can't afford it, then don't............ don't spend your last penny on a blower.

Best advice ever! Everybody with a blower needs to have that "blown engine/tranny fund" just in case.

I was told once that given the power mine makes on the stock block, it would blow the first time at the track. 721hp to the ground on a dyno about 8 times. In the last 3 weeks I have recorded 47 trips down the quarter mile all shifting at 7800rpms and the engine is still running strong. I am not naive enough to think it will not break however it hasnt yet and most didnt beleive it would make a full pass without breaking. Hell at the end of the night when people are leaving I have hotlapped the car for 4 back to back runs. No issues.

No sh*t. That's a lot of power if your making 130 mph at 3700 feet.

He's not at 3700 feet, that's the density altitude at the time of his run.

Like others have said, 500-550 is about the limit for NA....but that would be MUCH more fun IMO than 600 in a SCed car. There is something to say about having 500+ NA HP.
