Default 2-piece FOB vs 1-piece FOB

If my 2010 Mustang came originally with the 1-piece FOB keys, can I replace them with the 2-piece FOB/Keys? Or are the 2-piece not compatible with my car?

Yes, you can use the old-style key and fob. You'll need both of your original keys to program a new PATS key. They're less than $20 on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-FORD-KEYLESS-REMOTE-FOB-AND-UNCUT-IGNITION-TRANSPONDER-CHIP-CHIPPED-KEY-/300694758515?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4602cde473&vxp=mtr
