Man thats tuff. That happened to me in the Porsche last Christmas.

As long as you are ok, thats all that matters.

Car can be replaced.

Since you are in Cali, come check out Mellow and take her home.

It needs a good home to go to, and it is all done up as well.

Just had the lawyer conversation in another thread a few weeks ago. The fact that the guy was drunk should be a slam dunk on your part as far as getting your claim resolved quickly, but if his insurance starts to dick you around don't hesitate to get legal advice. Insurance companies are in business to make themselves rich, not to make you happy so don't let them screw you around.

The drunk's insurance company will probably be mailing you a check. The check is usually about $1,000 dollars, and if you chose to accept the amount then you can not go after them in court. Youre in a good position to have a lawyer, but the majority of the money the lawyer gets you in court will probably go to him. In the long run you will probably make out with more cash in court, but there is no telling how long it will take or what you will receive.

Glad you're not hurt
Sadly, in this day and age the guy prolly will only serve a day or two in prison. Good news is with alawyer you can go after HIS insurance not yours to pay for it... Good luck in your future endeavors with getting another 'stang!

Sorry to see man, I always have this in the back of my mind but its pointless to think about because there is nothing you can do about it. Hopefully everything works out for you.

Wow that is terrible. At least you'll get a new car out of it. Make sure you get what you deserve out of the insurance

Thank God you were not hurt. You had put together a really nice car.....very sad to see her go that way. But eventually we all part with our first cars, kinda like first GF's. You move on to that new model with bigger hooters. LOL Anyway good luck with the insurance claim, hope you get exactly what your looking for.

The douche bag really drove off? WTF is that!!

Thankfully your alright..I'm sure your in some pain and be sure to tell the drunks insurance of your pain. Cars can always be replaced. If your looking for another Stang check out the classifieds I'm sure you could find a pretty good deal there.
