Exclamation 2011 Auto>6Speed DIY. Any problems to expect ?

Hello.

I had always wanted a manual but when I bought mine, there wasn't one any closer than a few thousands of miles away. ( I was probably too specific in color & body style).

I found today a cheap wrecked 2013 v6 6-speed.

I thought I could use a couple body parts (rear bumper&lights) when I noticed it was a manual too.

I have read about this guide:
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...procedure.html

and it looks like this could be done in a day (~8h), and by giving it a week end I should have enough margin to have my daily driver back on the wheels on monday.

However, this guide was written for an 80s mustang. Cars have gotten a lot more complicated and integrated with electronics since that time.
What kind of difference or added issues should I consider before spending $1k on a wrecked piece of metal ?
Everything on the guide seemed to be bolts on, plug & play part swap. Should I expect similar swaps ?
Any programming / eletronics I would need to ask my dealer to do ?

I notice not many people would actually be able to answer these questions. I would appreciate any little help possible before having to mount my bike's pedals in the shifter hole to be able to go to work on monday.

Are you changing the engine/trans/diff and computer at the same time?
