Default Silver AMR Wheels

Hey guys I'm interested in new wheels because the stock fan blades aren't doing it for me anymore. After looking around I stumbled upon the Silver AMR wheels from American Muscle, do you guys think they would look good on my Vista Blue GT?

Thanks

Silver will look good. I run the machined-face AMR's. IMO, the vista's look better with a lighter colored wheel to contrast with the paint.

Yes they should, check on AM's site at the customer pictures I am sure there will probably be a Vista Blue car in there.

jpplaw Why did you choose the machined over silver or charcoal? They look good by the way.

I was running 07 GT500's, which are machined finish and contrasted nice with the vista. OEM GT500's are extremely heavy wheels though, so I then got a set of gunmetal Forgestar F14's. (My avatar pic has the F14's) Beautiful wheels but to me they were just too dark for the vista blue. Then one day last fall I saw the machined AMR's were on sale and I couldn't pass them up.

Would anybody happen to know how much these wheels actually weight? And maybe the quality/finish of the AMR selection of wheels? I really want to get these or the 2013 GT500 AMRs but am a little skeptical and my stockers are very heavy to begin with(19" premium 10 spoke machined face wheels with gray on the spokes)

Did you go with the 18" or 19"? The only problem with the silver AMRs is that the only option you have is to get 19" wheels, so I can't just swap out ruims, even though I kind of want a staggerrd setup.

I kept 18" on mine. I did a staggered set-up - 9's in front and 10's in back. They ride stiff enough as it is, I prefer a little sidewall for ride quality. The AMR's in the pic weigh around 24-25lbs. The Quality is pretty good for a relatively inexpensive cast wheel.

The chrome and machined 18" AMR's are on sale still. If I hadn't just bought some racestars, I'd be grabbing some extras for spares.
