When you order the SCT tuner from us we will write it with 3 tunes based on your request. If you only run 93 ... then we will only make a 93 since you won't be running lower octanes.

You can hold up to ten tunes on the SCT device:

Best Regards,

Lethal performance/ evolution performance/ Beefcake racing/ Revan racing plus much more companies use Lund Racing.
Steeda had a good tuner however, they're the only company I know that you have to buy parts from them to get revisions. I run both VMP and Lund... theyre pretty identical in performance and street ability. Ive ran bresnpeed in the past and was happy but its 35 bucks for a revision.
The whole tunes for life is just a gimmick... most companies offer this. Lund racing has all the cars who hold all the records. You will get a customized tune with proper revisions going with a company built more on tuning.
Some of these big name companies will say they build each and every tune from the ground up... they are salesmen and know very little in regards to such.
So with that said, if you are relatively new to this... go with a tuner not a big store that just so happens to offer tunes. Many of these places like VMP/ LUND/ Lito/ AED will help a customer learn and answer the questions to build a their knowledge base on the subject. Just my 2 cents.
Agreed!

awesome explanation !
I will look into the price of these tunes to check the affordability.

from reading several other topics, here's what I came out with however:

- VMP > very unresponsive to emails/calls. hard to even reach them for building the first tune. it came from different forumers opinions. If this is still true (email sent, waiting for their answer), I will avoid this company.

- Lund > did I read somewhere that some cars broke down on their tunes or did I just made that up ? I have a bad memory about comments on Lund's tunes.

Also, is it worth to buy several tunes ?
Like 1 for performance & 1 for gas mileage, or can I use the stock tuner options for gas mileage ?

Although I love my Brenspeed tunes and feel no need to change, I voted BAMA, ONLY because of their tunes-for-life policy.

One question is, does Brenspeed offer the ghost cam?

Which provider would you recommend ? I believe they are not all identical.

My car is a 2011 v6 Auto with:
- Steeda CAI
- 410 Gears
- Borla Atak exhaust
- 91 Octane (no 93 here in so cal)

And the Providers I have found so far are:
- Amazon (?)
- AED -$250+extras/1
- BAMA - $149/unlimited
- Brenspeed - $95/1 or $145/3
- CNL - $75/1 or $110/3
- EvoPerform - $200/1
- Latemodelrestoration - $79/1 & unlimited adjustments (?=unlimited tunes ?)
- Liverpool (?)
- Lund (?)
- Steeda - $99/1
- VMP - $99/1 (contacted: only 1 tune available for 91. mix of street/performance. no race)

did I forgot a provider ?

Hey Craiacou,

We can definitely right you a Powerful, Reliable and Safe tune for your 2011 V6! You're talking about the best tuners in the world when it comes to Mustangs, so I'm confident you'll be really happy no matter who you go with. However, here's a little bit about how we write our tunes!

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

Last but not least, our free tunes for life program! I see some information on our program has already been tossed around a bit in here but I'll give it a once over. Anytime you add a new modification to your car, want to datalog, need an adjustment etc.. just hit up the Bama team and we'll gladly get you squared away! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764!

I hope this helps. We really appreciate your business and loyalty, please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

Style of driving = douche

Sorry, but everytime I see that, I can't help myself. That really is my style. If they made a push bar for the front of the mustang, I'd use it. Some people need a little push in the right direction.

Reaching VMP by email is a crapshoot. I have both vmp and brenspeed, but don't use the vmp tune. It just never ran right, even after datalogging.
