4.6 3v best cams with supercharger/procharger?
Last year I picked up my 07 Gt and im ready to start putting on some bolt ons. Im planning on running a supercharger or procharger in the future but not for awhile. Right now im looking for some cams that will give me the most power and will work well with my future forced induction setup. Id really prefer not to mess with the springs as im on a fairly tight budget. Im fairly new to this forum but ive got inspiration from a few people here. Thanks in advance for your replys

I run the Brenspeed Detroit Rocker blower cams. They are only a .450 lift, so the stock springs are still good. Vaccuum stays good too. Adding just cams, you'll get +30-35 rwhp. Add headers with the cams, and you'll still only get the +30-35 rwhp gain, but the engine will be making that power more efficiently.

Sorry to hijack, but I'm curious about cams as well. Can I run blower grind cams on a NA motor? I imagine they wouldn't make as much power, but that's fine. I plan on building my motor and then supercharging and would rather have to do the cams only once. I think the answer would help with the OP's choice as well.

There is actually not much difference between blower and N/A versions of the same cam. The difference is the amount of overlap - the amount of time the intake and exhaust valves on a cylinder are open at the same time. A blower grind has more lobe separation, thus it has less overlap, but it is only like 1- 2 degrees.
Running a mild blower cam N/A while waiting to go FI will not hurt anything.
